General Tan Sri (DR) Mohd. Hashim Mohd. Ali (Rtd)

General Tan Sri (Dr.) Dato’ Paduka Mohamed Hashim Bin Mohd. Ali (Rtd) was the Chief of the Defence Forces in the Malaysian Armed Forces where he chalked up 40 years of dedicated service. During his tenure in the Malaysian Armed Forces, he had initiated the re-organisation and modernization of the Army.

He is the Chairman of Country Heights Holdings Berhad, Datasonic Group Berhad, and Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad. He also sits on the Board of Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS), Borneo Highlands Hornbill Golf & Jungle Club Berhad, Mines Resort Berhad, Mines Excellence Golf Resort Berhad, as well as some other private companies.

Dato’ Sri Haji Mustapha Haji Ali

Dato’ Hj Mustapa bin Hj Ali is the President of APSA Malaysia Chapter as well as Deputy President of Security Services Association of Malaysia (SSAM / PPKKM). He has been the founder and the Managing Director of AHM Consultancy & Security Services Sdn Bhd since 1994.

A graduate of University of Malaya (UM) in Security Strategic Studies, Dato’ Mustapa has had an illustrious career in his 24 years of Police Services with the Royal Malaysia Police Force (PDRM) including serving as deputy OCPD Petaling Jaya, Investigation Officer (I/O), Intelligent Officer at Criminal Investigation Department (HQ), and AI-DE-COMP (ADC) to the Inspector General Police (YDH Tun Haji Haniff bin Omar).

Datuk Nik Ismail Nik Yusoff

Dato Nik Ismail Bin Yusoff served as the Chief Police Officer of the State of Selangor Darul Eshan. He was as Senior Police Officer of Royal Malaysia Police from June 1965 until retiring in September 2001. During his service in the police force, he has attended courses and seminars on police roles and functions within and outside the country, including attachments to foreign security intelligence services in the United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Japan and Singapore.

Dato’ Nik Ismail served as the Chairman of Advance Information Marketing Berhad, Vice Chairman of Y&G Corporation Bhd, as well as director posts with AT Systematization Berhad, Lebtech Berhad, and several other private limited companies.

First Admiral Dato’ Subramaniam Raman Nair (Rtd)

Dato’ Subramaniam Raman Nair was the first Indian to serve as First Admiral of the Royal Malaysian Navy. He is also the Founder and Director of Vescape Security Sdn. Bhd., a company licensed to provide private investigation, armed and unarmed security services by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Datuk Muhammad Fuad Talib

Datuk Muhammad Fuad Talib worked with the Royal Malaysian Police with his last post being the OCPD of Subang Jaya, before retiring. He is now the Head of Group Security for Sunway Group and also the Secretary for the Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) - Selangor Chapter.

Kuan Chee Heng

The President of Community Policing Malaysia (COPS), Kuan Chee Heng served as a policeman between 1986 and 1991, and his continued dedication can be seen in his immense efforts at building an effective platform for the Public and Police to interact. This culminated with the initiation of community policing in 2007, a movement that equips a voluntary public with basic police training who, in return, conduct patrols, identify potential problems in their communities, and provide tip-offs to the local police.

Mr. Kuan himself was roped in around 2008, and in 2009, the COPS website (www.cops.org.my) was established for everyone to share crime-related information online more freely. Finally, in March 2011, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak officially launched Kuan’s movement as an official NGO.

Michael Chong

For the past 20 years, Michael Chong, also fondly known by his clients and friends as the “Preparedness Consultant”, has been involved in Personal Protection, Road Safety and Home Security, assisting victims of Road Traffic Accidents, victims of violence and house break-ins. He brings with him documented cases of real scenarios and provides a range of practical preventive measures and solutions in making the road user more aware of potential road dangers and their homes a safer place and simple ways to keep oneself safe from harm’s way in the daily life routine. He also educates and demonstrates the use of effective personal protection devices.

Michael’s passion for effective self-defense spans 30 years of learning different martial arts and carries the title of “Elite International Master” and holds an 8th Degree Black Belt in Unarmed Combat Martial Arts and also a 8th Degree Black Belt in Weapons Martial Arts in the Malay Archipelago’s Martial and Spiritual Warrior’s Union (MAMSWU). Michael is also one of the only few recognized and certified RapeEscape Instructors for Ladies Program in the world.
